The Little Dog Trainer

The following policies are in the interests of all participants and their dogs and by registering for a class or workshop (physical or online) with The Little Dog Trainer you agree to the following:

Please contact us before enrolling if your dog has aggression issues. Dogs that have aggression and fear concerns will need one to one intervention before enrolling in a group class environment.
Keep your dog close to you and under control at all times.
Dogs are to be kept on lead unless instructed otherwise during a training exercise.
Do not allow your dog to approach other dogs. Despite the need for owners to socialise their dogs, a strange dog approaching a sensitive dog can cause them to show aggression as a defence strategy.
The Little Dog Trainer have the right to remove a dog and owner from the class (without a refund) if they feel the dog’s behaviour is not managed adequately by the owner and is therefore putting the other participants at risk.
No banned breeds under section 1 of the Dangerous Dog Act are allowed in classes/workshops unless they have proff of having been exempted and are adhering to the law. Banned Breeds are the Japanese Tosa,Dogo Argentina,Fila Brazilero and Pit Bull Types.
Please encourage your dogs to relieve themselves before class.
Should a dog relieve themselves before or during a class or workshop, anywhere in or outside the training area, the owner will need to clean up and dispose of the waste in a suitable bin on your way home. If you are attending an online class or workshop, then feel free to toilet your dog whenever you need to and there will be toilet break given during any online service.
All dogs should be fully protected by vaccination before attending classes.
Do not bring a sick dog or bitch in season to class. Please speak to Suzanne Moores first, or immediately take your dog to be checked by a vet if sickness continues or it is an emergency. We encourage you to still attend on your own if possible, depending on the situation with your dog, as most of the learning can be done without the dog present. If you are accessing an online service then this is at your discretion but please do not continue to work a sick dog.
Please note, we do not allow prong collars,choke chains,slip leads or Flexi leads worn on your dog in classes or workshops.
We advise that you consider a Y fitting harness, with a front ring attachment (Perfect Fit Harness, Hurta everyday Y front, TT Touch harness, Mekuti, accompanied by a double ended clip lead Like a Halti lead
Harsh handling is strongly discouraged. If it continues after an initial warning, the dog and owner will be asked to leave (without a refund).
The dog and any other person that is brought to class is the owner’s sole responsibility of any injury, loss or damage to person or property that occurs whilst attending a class.
Children are welcome over the age of 5 years old, and encouraged but they cannot attend on their own (without adult supervision) if under 18 years old.
To secure your booking, your booking form and payment will need to have been received 3 days after the booking. Payment can be made by bank transfer (details on welcome/confirmation letter).
REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE only in exceptional circumstances ( The Little Dog Trainer)

The Little Dog Trainer and Puppy School Woodley and Binfield may take photos or videos for social media, advertising, or instructional use. We also like to use group photos at the end of courses or workshops. If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos at all, please let us know at the beginning of an event or at the time of booking a service with The Little Dog Trainer.
